Hey, Laura!
I have a SLUG of old (circa 1990-1995) 5th grade reading and english textbooks. My district was going to just dump them last year, but I saved them w/intent to deliver sometime to a warehouse in Minneapolis that sends books to Africa. Just haven't got up there w/them, BUT I do make it down to Des Moines two or three times a year (in JUNE to Angela's institute anyway! :-). Would you be interested in the books? They're just taking up space in my storage room right now. Proabably about 20-25 copies of reading books (times 2 titles) and about the same number of English books (1 title).

This is GOOD work you are doing! Do you have a partner on the African side already?

God Bless!

Michelle,
I am very interested in the referenced textbooks. It sounds like you also have a hard time discarding educational materials. Honestly, I have been so busy with establishing contacts and trying to get supplies, that I have not solidified contacts in Africa. I am communicating with two non-profit organizations right now, Compassion International and Africa Inland Missions, but I would love to know your contact in Minneapolis as well.

Thank you for your interest and your initiative in getting those materials to me. Any information others have to offer is much appreciated. Be blessed!

Laura
