Even though I am physically taking my trip to Africa alone, I in no way will be alone. Throughout this past year, many people have come alongside me to prepare me for this momentous occasion. Each of you has given me the resources I needed at the moment to strengthen and support me. I am humbled by your generosity!
To each of you who has inspired me in thought, word or deed, my heartfelt thanks goes out to you. You all will be with me in my heart as it becomes both broken and filled with the love of the African children. May you know how much your inspiration has meant to me!
My journey begins tomorrow. I will be silent on this venue for a few weeks. I promise, dear friends, to report back my heart breaking and heart filling experiences to you. In the meantime, my request is to pray for a safe journey, a time with the children for love and learning, and a deeper direction for my life and God's will in it. Praise be to God for all that He is and will do!!!
